Radnja Filma:
1936, profesor koji predaje arheologiju Indiana Jones putuje kroz dzungle Juzne Amerike trazeci zlatne statue...nailazi na smrtonosnu zamku i aktivira je ali nekako uspe da pobegne. Potom Indiana dobija informacije od svog prijatelja Markusa Brodija o biblijskom predmetu "Kovceg Zaveta" i krece put Nepala i Egipta kako bi nasao ovaj predmet...

Nekoliko detalja o muzici iz filma "The Raiders March"
Ova kompozicija je nastala iz dve "pesme" koje su izvodjene na klaviru od strane kompozitora John Williams-a...on je pozvao Stivena Spilberga da poslusa te dve pesme a Spilberg mu je predlozio da od dve kompozicije sastavi jednu i komponuje "Raiders March". Pesma je komponovana 1980 i bila je takodje koriscena za film "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" a potom je koriscena za svakisledeci film o Indiani Jones-u

Posto je otkriven putnicki brod koji je nestao jos daleke 1962 pronalazaci "preuzimaju" brod u nameri da ga prodaju a zlato sa njega prisvoje...ali ubrzo pocinju da se desavaju brojne bizarne stvari, pronalazaci se nalaze u zamci i vise zlato i novac nisu toliko bitni...
