Реги́нa Ильи́нична Спе́ктор je rodjena u bivsem SSSR-u tj Rusiji, 18.02.1980
Odrasla je u okruzenju muzike, njen otac je bio amater violinista i fotograf, njena majka je bila muzicki profesor i sada predaje kao profesor u SAD-u, takodje i njen brat je snimio nekoliko pesama...

Regina je prvo naucila da svira klavir, odrasla je uz Rusku klasicnu muziku, takodje je slusala Bitlse, Queen, Mody Blues...napustila je SSSR 1989 zajedno sa svojom porodicom tokom "Perestrojke" kada je bila dozvoljena migracija iz zemlje
Regini je bilo tesko da ostavi svoj klavir zbog cega se cela porodica prvobitno odlucila da ne ide iz zemlje, ali su konacno napustili zemlju
U Nju Jorku Regina je nastavila da svira klavir u Skoli Muzike na Menhetnu, u pocetku je bila zainteresovana samo za klasicnu muziku, ali kasnije su je interesovali Hip Hop, Rock, I Punk

Ona je konacno bila zapazena tek na anti-folk sceni u centru Nju Jorka neke 2000te
